Roseline Mgbodichinma is a Nigerian writer passionate about documenting women’s stories. Her
writing explores the intersection of womanhood, mental health, bodies and desire, and how they exist
and function in society. She has over five years of experience in creative writing, community
management, and content creation. She is an alumni of the Library of Africa and The African
Diaspora (LOATAD) West African Writers Residency programme, Accra Ghana. She is a Nairobi
poetry writing workshop scholarship recipient and a poetry mentor at SprinNG. She was shortlisted
for the Isele Short Story Prize and was a finalist for the 2022 kikwetu flash fiction contest. She won the
Audience Favourite Award for the Okadabooks and Union Bank Campus Writing Challenge and was
also the third prize winner in the PIN food poetry contest. Her work has appeared online and in print
and are published in Poet Lore, Agbowo, Isele magazine, Swwim, Native Skin, Down River Road, JFA
